Get your heart racing in the DMD Conference 5.10k Road Race & Fun Run! This run is a great way to compete against and casually connect with other people that are participating in the IEM Innovation Week.

All racers registered by March 25th are guaranteed a race t-shirt (size not guaranteed), post-race goodies, and will be eligible for post-race prizes! These will be available at registration on a first come first serve basis.

The DMD 5.10k is open to ALL levels of runners and walkers. We welcome participation in the race even if you're not attending the conference! This is a Family and Dog Friendly Event

Course:

The total course distance is approximately 3.3 miles, and consists of two equal distance loops. Each loop will start in front of Coffman Memorial Union, cross the Mississippi river towards the West Bank campus, run around Rarig Center, return across the river, run in front of Northrop Auditorium, then back to Coffman. The entire race takes place on pedestrian paths, with only gentle slopes, making the event family / dog friendly. (course route pictured in slide show below)

The reference to 5.10k is not to the distance, it is a play on the '510(k) premarket submission form for the US FDA to demonstrate that the device to be marketed is as safe and effective, that is, substantially equivalent, to a legally marketed device (section 513(i)(1)(A) FD&C Act)' pulled from Google Search.
