Slack Off is a solo show written and performed by Penina Beede that unpacks her complicated relationship with her Jewish upbringing and how a manic episode led her to enlist in the Israeli army. Though the premise is undeniably political, the show is rooted in something more intimate: a deeply personal reckoning with identity, instability, and the search for belonging in all the wrong places.
