Florence Marine Menehune Surf Fest and Longboard

This special surf competition begins with the intent to help encourage surfing among Hawai‘i’s youths and introduce them to the Legacy of Duke Kahanamoku and his spirit of aloha. For many, this will be their first experience in the competitive surfing world.  Each registered participant receives a Duke Kahanamoku OceanFest Commemorative T-Shirt!  Awards and Prizes to the Finalist.

Outrigger Resorts & Hotels Beach Volleyball Challenge (Adults)

Surfboard Water Polo

Six-person teams will play water polo on surfboards, the same way Duke Kahanamoku, his brothers and fellow beach boys did in Waikīkī. Location: Kapahulu Breakwall.
Each registered participant receives a Duke’s OceanFest Commemorative T-Shirt.  Awards and Prizes to the Finalist.

In the enchanting setting of Hawaii’s sun-kissed shores, competitors and fans come together to witness a vibrant opening ceremony. The iconic statue of Duke Kahanamoku is adorned with fresh flower lei, symbolizing unity and respect. This festive spectacle sets the stage for the thrilling OceanFest ahead, capturing the essence of Hawaiian culture and fostering a sense of camaraderie among all in attendance.
