The Elwood Glass Festival – located in Elwood, Indiana – is the pride of the community and one of the leading festivals in Central Indiana. The festival has been Elwood’s largest annual since 1971 and is a tribute to the unique, beautifully crafted hand-blown art-glass produced throughout the Elwood community since the earliest days of the Indiana Gas Boom, more than 125 years ago.

The Festival is organized by the Elwood Chamber of Commerce with sponsorships from local businesses and help from countless volunteers from the community. It is held annually, the third weekend of August, Friday through Sunday.

The Glass Festival includes a parade, carnival rides, arts and crafts, food, collectibles, bus tours, demonstrations, and fun contests.

The Vintage Rollers Car Show brings more than 300 classic and antique cars each year. Live bands and other entertainment perform at the Jim Knoop Amphitheater at Callaway Park. And free bus tours are available daily and include stops at Carol’s Legacy Glass and the House of Glass.
