This festival features National Touring, Award Winning BBQ Rib Cooking Teams (as seen on the Food Network), local and regional entertainment, works by artisans and craftsmen, vendors, business booths, service groups, festival foods and treats, specialty acts, beer and spirits in the park and safe inflatable rides. Analytics show the largest group of event visitors are typically between 22 and 55 years of age with the ratio of men and women nearly equal. This festival focuses on community spirit, family fun and of course the BBQ! This longstanding festival attracts an estimated attendance of over 50,000 visitors annually.

The Rib Kidz Fun Zone Operates: (Near the Fountain)
Saturday , May – 31st 11am till 9pm Mini Carnival
On Saturday, May 31st. families can have lots of fun at the family-friendly Mini Carnival Hosted by the Brown Clowns of Erie. You will find the Carnival near the fountain in the East Perry Square Park. The fountain will be on so if the weather is warm, the little one’s can have fun in the fountain. There will be clownin around, face painting, bubbles and fun for the little ones.
