The Main Event: 5-Day Plein Air Festival

Five-Full Days of outdoor paint outs and quick draw competitions - painting the stunning natural beauty and architecture of Eureka Springs, Arkansas and area. Daily and overall prizes totaling more than $5,000.

1 x Quick Draw Competition
1 x Three-Hour Plein Air Workshop Demo with renown New Orleans plein air, landscape and cityscape painter Phil Sandusky.
Random coaching during paint outs by Phil Sandusky.
1 x Three-Hour Plein Air Workshop Demo with Paul O'Neill, one of Eureka Springs most accomplished and nationally recognized landscape artists.
Nightly Awards Reception with refreshments and light hors d'oeuvres.
Opportunity to sell your artwork at the nightly public Awards Receptions.

Come to Town Early!

10:00 AM - 5:30 PM: Adventure Art "Youth Day" for 12-18 years

Day One offers an exciting opportunity for youth to learn the basics of Outdoor Painting while experiencing the brilliance of nature. Amber Leibee, accomplished Plein Air Painter and co-owner of Adventure Art, will take participants on a days-long journey of learning and fun. Some experience with any type of painting will be helpful.

$250 Youth Prize Award

Members of the Plein Air Painters of Eureka Springs will be on-site to support Amber and the youth to ensure a positive experience and provide one-on-one support.

Registration includes:

All supplies – paints, brushes and paper
3-Hour Plein Air Youth Workshop with Amber Leibee.
Hands-on coaching and instruction during day’s paintout. (3 participants per coach)
Lunch provided at location.
Early evening Reception with refreshments and light hors d'oeuvres (family and friends welcome)
Prize draws and raffle.
Opportunity to participate in days 2-5 of the Festival (optional)
Swag Bag filled with goodies (and collector's t-shirt)
Unlimited Fun

Amber’s gentle spirit and kind demeanor combined with her expertise will encourage artists to develop their ability and enjoyment of Outdoor Painting.

This event is Funded to allow students to attend.

Limited to ten Youth (Aged 12-18) Some experience with any type of painting will be helpful but not required.
