Riverfest takes place over the Memorial Day weekend at both Berg Park and Animas Park.

Riverfest Raft Parade
11am – 2pm
For the love of the Animas! The Riverfest Raft Parade and costume party for rafters, kayakers, and other river users. Dress in your best Tropical Vibes costumes and join the parade. The launch is at 11:00a.m. Sunday at Animas Park near the Animal Shelter and goes to the Miller Street take-out. Private rafters, teams from local businesses and organizations, kayakers, canoers and anyone who wants to float the river can compete for the most outrageous costumes while highlighting the fun that the river provides. If your company or organization is interested in sponsoring a raft and getting a team on the water contact Desert River Guides. Bring your costumes and a banner or sign and have fun on the water. Private boaters please do not block the turn around at the put in or access to the take out ramp. parking at the take out is limited. Roverfest
11am – 3pm
Register at the Red Barn in Animas Park. Walk your dog to 6 different outposts around the park to collect 6 different dog stamps. Enjoy nature and the beauty of the park with your best friend, and take in the special communal vibes at Riverfest! Most of all – have fun!

Watch the plastic duckies race down Willetts Ditch, near Rocky Reach Landing. Entry only $5/ticket. Sunday sales end at 2pm at River Reach Terrace, and 2:45pm at Boyd Park. Online sales end at midnight on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Click the button below for tickets. Proceeds benefit River Reach Foundation and Kiwanis Rio del Sol. Need not be present to win.
