Kick off 2025 with fresh air, stunning views, and great company! Join our park staff on January 1st for a scenic hike on the Eydlu-Bena Loop Trail at Eklutna in Chugach State Park. This 2.2-mile adventure is the perfect way to start your year outdoors.

Meet us at the Eklutna Day Use Area before or right at 11:00 AM. We'll gather, head out on the trail together, and finish the hike enjoying some coffee and donuts. The hike is expected to finish around 3:00 PM.

Come prepared with micro-spikes for icy conditions, sturdy footwear, water, warm clothing, and snowshoes if needed.
