​Yellow Trail - Self-Guided Hike

The Yellow Trail at Pocomoke River State Park is a flat, wooded path that begins at our Nature Center, where visitors can view native reptiles as well as pick up their "I Hiked" sticker before heading out. This scenic trail winds through shaded woodlands along the Pocomoke River, passing towering loblolly pines and cypress trees. Hikers may spot native birds, deer, and other wildlife, making it a peaceful escape into nature and an excellent spot for birdwatching and photography.

Additional Details:
Leashed pets are welcome on the trail. The yellow trail is unpaved and may be challenging for strollers. Pocomoke River State Park is a fee-free park. The nearest restrooms are located directly beneath the camp store. There will be a porta john set-up for the hike in the Nature Center parking lot.
