Bring in 2025 at Point State Park with a First Day Doggy Hike! Meet at the Park Café, where we will begin our walk at 2:00 pm discussing Leave No Trace ethics and how they relate to man's best friend. We welcome dogs from any breed, but they must adhere to all state park rules and regulations, which can be found here. Most importantly, all dogs must be on a 6-foot leash or less, must be picked up after, and cannot be aggressive or display hostile behavior. Registration is required and please include your dog(s) as a registrant. Upon arrival to the program, participants will be required to fill out a waiver form. Point State Park reserves the right to ask parties to leave the program if the need arises.
