Join Ranger Cierra for a two-mile hike along the Green Trail. The trail passes through the headwaters of Maryland’s largest freshwater swamp, the Zekiah, making it a great location to discover native wildlife. This trail does not have many roots or rocks, but there are a few areas with changes in elevation. Dress for the weather, wear study walking shoes, and bring you own water and snacks.

Leashed pets are welcome. Trail is not stroller/ wheelchair accessible. Portable restrooms available at the HQ parking lot and the Charcoal Kiln parking lot. Day-use fees apply: $3 for MD, $5 for out-of-state, veterans are free (price per vehicle).
