The First Shots Handgun Clinic is a hands-on class for beginners who have little or no experience shooting. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is hosting this free clinic at the Lee Kay Public Shooting Range on Saturday, March 19 from 10 a.m. to noon, and it is open to participants ages 12 and older. The clinic includes an introduction to safe handgun handling, covers the fundamentals of shooting and you'll spend some time on the shooting range. It?s a perfect opportunity for novice shooters to learn exciting new skills and ask plenty of questions! We've partnered with the National Shooting Sports Foundation to host this event. This clinic is designed for new shooters to improve their shooting skills in a supportive, encouraging and comfortable environment. This clinic is intended for beginners and the number of participants is limited. If you are a more proficient shooter looking to hone your skills, please stay connected with us for information about more advanced classes in the future.
