The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) has created a First Shots Startup Grant Program to assist ranges that want to begin hosting First Shots events as a way to reach out to their community and have new or existing people get introduced to firearms and their facilities. Let's get you started on your journey to exercising your second amendment right. NSSF's First Shots program is tailor made for you the first time shooter or getting back into shooting. Shooting is a perishable skill that does not come naturally to us. With instruction on handguns this program consists of a classroom "dry practice manipulation of handguns" and "live fire range", you'll leave knowing how to safely handle, operate and store a firearm. Event Description: Our First Shots Introduction to handguns is a 3-hour course designed to get any shooter confidently able to fire handguns. The first portion of this course is spent in the classroom, safety, learning proper grip, stance, sight picture, handling skills, trigger control and more. Everything in this class is provided and it does not have any prerequisites. This course is for adults ages 18 and up. Cost of the 3 hour class is just $50.00 Time: 5:30 pm-8:30 pm What we provide: Top notch highly certified Instructors who are excited to have you in class.
