Signature Experiences

Santacruzan

A cherished annual tradition in provinces across the Philippines, Santacruzan is a grand parade commemorating the search of Queen Helena (Reyna Elena) and her son, Constantine the Great, for the Holy Cross. Our parade will be a procession of beautifully adorned participants, each representing a significant character or concept. In 2025, Santacruzan will be organized by the Oʻahu Filipino Community Council.

Filipiniana Market

Shoppers will have the opportunity to discover brand new and gently used Filipiniana clothing from Barong Tagalog to Maria Clara gowns to Kimonas. Or, participate in our clothing swap: bring a Filipiniana piece to exchange 1 for 1 with another donated item at the Market. Through our Market, we aim to provide access to traditional attire for individuals of all ages while promoting sustainability and community spirit!

Cultural Village

Enjoy an immersive experience at the Cultural Village, which showcases diverse aspects of Filipino heritage. Representatives from a variety of Filipino organizations and regions of the Philippines will be on hand to share more about their food, traditions, language, and practices. Whether you're deeply immersed in Filipino culture or just beginning to explore, there's something for everyone to learn and experience in our Cultural Village.

Kabataan Barangay

Fiesta would not be complete without activities for our youngest Fiesta attendees. Kabataan Barangay (aka Keiki Village) is an immersive space designed to celebrate Filipino heritage through engaging activities such as traditional games, arts and crafts, and storytelling for children. Join us for a safe, family-friendly experience at our Kabataan Barangay. Tara na! (Let’s go!)

Ligaya’s Sari-Sari Store

Continuing to offer nostalgia for people that grew up in the Philippines, shoppers will have a chance to browse through the local neighborhood store and discover an assortment of favorite Filipino snacks, home goods, and sweet treats to stock up.

Balut Eating Contest

To celebrate a Filipino delicacy loved (and feared) by all, we are bringing back this popular contest. Contestants will compete against each other with an objective to eat three balut eggs the fastest. More information about this contest will be shared closer to Fiesta.
