The Flyin Lion is an annual race that kicks off our parish's Saint Pius X weekend celebrations. The race helps support scholarships for SPX middle- and high-school students who want to participate in Catholic summer camp.
The Flyin' Lion includes two events:
a chip-timed 5K and
a 1 Mile Fun Run and Walk.
The race begins and ends on Santa Monica Drive, next to the school's preschool playground. The terrain of the race is all roads.
