Student Art Day

Join the featured artists as they paint with local students from Gulf and Franklin County schools. The event will take place at the Millpond in Apalachicola. Each artist will work one-on-one with a student to paint their own plein air piece from 10:00am to 12:00pm. The students will sign their paintings and volunteers will help frame them onsite. Artists, students, teachers and volunteers gather at noon for lunch to celebrate the day's accomplishments. The student paintings will then be taken to hang at the Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce, 17 Avenue E in Apalachicola. The hours are Thursday and Friday, March 20th and 21st from 9:00am-5:00pm and Saturday, March 22nd from 10:00am-3:00pm.  If you miss Student Art Day, be sure to go by and see their paintings.

St. George Island Artist Demonstrations and Reception

Come watch artists Brienne M. Brown, Ken DeWaard, Mark Fehlman, Haidee-Jo Summers & Steven S. Walker as they capture the beauty that is St. George Island and the St. George Lighthouse. Reception immediately following and artists will talk about their paintings. Free to the public.
