Life is beautiful and we desire for all to Flourish and Thrive! Join Fountain of Life for our inaugural Flourish and Thrive 5K/1K on Saturday, July 19, 2025 by attending in-person or virtually! Fountain of Life is a nonprofit senior community center that supports Kansas City metro families impacted by limited English proficiency. Fountain of Life offers a safe place and warm community for seniors to build friendships and access health resources, aging services and mental health supports. Our staff and volunteers are multilingual and passionate about enhancing the quality of life for seniors. Supports are available in English, Burmese, Chinese, Hmong, Korean and Vietnamese.
This event seeks to raise friends and funds to further the mission of Fountain of Life. Our 5K begins at 8:00 a.m. followed by our 1K at 8:45 a.m. The in-person 5K is a chip-timed run/walk. The in-person 1K walk is a non-timed family oriented option that is wheelchair, wagon, walker and stroller friendly. All participants may order a t-shirt separately from the race registration fee.
