Fredericksburg Fourth of July Parade

Sunday, Jul 4, 2021 at 1:00pm

2021 Fredericksburg Fourth of July Parade. Plans are being made for this year’s 30th-anniversary parade to honor our nation’s independence.  Parade organizers have received approval and permission from the City of Fredericksburg to move forward with the parade.

This year, the Fourth of July falls on a Sunday, which means that the parade will begin promptly at 1 p.m.  There will be a short patriotic program at 11:30 a.m. at Marktplatz. There will be no program following the main parade. For 2021, we are happy to announce that will broadcast the parade live at 1:00 p.m. from the 100 block of East Main Street.

The parade will begin lining up behind the Gillespie County Courthouse at 11:00 a.m. The parade proceeds east on Main Street to the intersection of Main and Washington Street.  It will U-turn there and go west to Bowie Street.  Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or park a vehicle along the route to enjoy the parade.
