Celebrate Freedom on Saturday with an amazing afternoon of food and fun at the annual Ham Lake Freedom Festival that kick’s off at 3:00pm in the Ham Lake Lions Park and ends with the city fireworks display you won’t want to miss!

Schedule Of events

3:00pm - Flag raising ceremony at the flagpole near the concession building. Presented by BSA Troops 3509/5509 in Ham Lake. 

3-10pm – Food, Desserts and Beverages available from our vendors

3-9pm – Business Expo and Artisan Maker's Market (list of participating vendors and registration info below)

3-11pm - ATM on site located near the flagpole end of the pavilion

3-9pm – Many FREE Activities for Kids (and Adults)! 

- Firetruck, and Police Vehicles on Display

- Facepainting and Kid's Waterball hosted by the Fire Rescue Foundation of Ham Lake

- Inflatable Entertainment for all ages 

- Robot Demonstrations by the Blaine HS Robotics Team! Located on the basketball court. 

- Kids Obstacle course and Gymnastic Demonstrations by Jam Hops. Great for young children!

- Archery Booth with Safe Foam Tipped Arrows for all ages! Provided by BSA Troops 3509/5509 out of Ham Lake

- KidSight Eye Screening will be provided by the Ham Lake Lions Club. Have your child's eyesight screened on the spot! If the camera detects a potential issue with the child's eye health, we print out the results and provide the family with a referral to see an eye care provider. - Festive glowsticks, light up spinners and fiber optic wands available at the Ham Lake Lions Club booth for purchase.

- Airbrush tattoos and glitter tattoos available for a small price 

- Color Me Impressed - temporary airbrush tattoos and glitter tattoos

3-6pm – Bingo and Pull Tabs presented by Ham Lake Area Chamber of Commerce (lic. #02948) - ASL Interpretation provided for this event by Bridge Interpreting Partners!

3:30pm - Snake, Rattle and Roll with Snake Discovery! Join us for a 45 minute educational program followed by the opportunity to touch, meet and greet the reptiles. Located on the basketball court. 

5:00pm - Hot Dog Eating Contest!! Ham Lake Lions club is hosting a hot dog eating contest with a fun prize for the winner! No cost to participate but advance registration is required so we have enough hot dogs ready :) If you wish to participate, sign up by June 16 via the registration button on this page

6:00pm - 500 Free pulled pork sandwiches starting at the Route 65 food booth until they run out! Sponsored by Upper Midwest Athletic Construction, Inc. 

7:30-10pm Live Music from Benjamin Raye and The Empire Players!

10pm – fireworks
