This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Goose Creek Run-Off, and we're celebrating in style! Join us for a special throwback edition of the race as we take it back to 1985 - the year it all began! Dust off your neon, leg warmers, and retro running gear because we're encouraging all participants to dress in their best '80s attire!

Schedule:

5:30-6:10am - Check in at Oakley City Park
6:10am - Buses leave for start of 10K
6:15am - Buses leave for start of 5K
7:00am - 10K and 5K start

Course Info:

Whether you're here to race hard or just have fun, this milestone event will be one to remember. Don't miss out on special prizes, commemorative swag, and a totally epic race day experience.

The 10K will start above the Oakley Reservoir as usual. The distance is a GPS measured 10K. The course follows a scenic, winding road from above the dam, across the Goose Creek drainage and into town, ending at the Oakley City Park. 

The 5K course is the last half of the 10K course. The start will be a little southwest of where the Goose Creek road forks left to Goose Creek and right to the dam.

The one mile kid's race around town will be held at approximately 8:30am for children under 12 years of age. Check in by the Oakley City Office at 8:00am. Cost is $5. Cash only.

Awards:

All 10K and 5K participants will receive:

A free breakfast. Your bib number is your breakfast ticket. If you prefer not to eat breakfast, another family member may use your bib number.

A deluxe 2025 T-shirt.

An awards ceremony will take place at the completion of the races. Prizes will be awarded to the top three 10K and 5K overall male and female winners.

Cost:

Registration must be completed online. Early arrivers may pick up race packets or register Friday, July 19, at the City Park between the hours of 5pm and 7pm.

10K Entry Fee: $40 (non-refundable)
Youth 17 and under will receive a $5 discount.

5K Entry Fee: $35 (non-refundable)
Youth 17 and under will receive a $5 discount.
