Honoring Alliance as the Carnation City, the Greater Alliance Carnation Festival is a festival full of parades, food and fun throughout the community. Throughout the festival week(s), there are more than 30 fun-filled events. There is truly an event for everyone!
Schedule of Events:
8:30am - 10:30am: Fishing Derby
Open to kids ages 4-12 (Three age groups... 4-6, 7-9, 10-12)
Space is limited! Deadline to register is noon on August 2nd.
The Fishing Derby is held at Kidwell Lake in Silver Park for ages 4 to 12.

9:00 am - 4:00 pm: Pump In & Muster and Kick Off Parade
Parade route - the parade starts at Main and Union and heads south on Union Ave. to west on Glamorgan St., ending at the Glamorgan castle
noon-4 p.m: Glamorgan Castle Tours, 200 Glamorgan St.
Admission: $10 adults donation, 10 and under free
1-4 p.m: Mabel Hartzell Home Tours, 840 N. Park Ave.
Suggested donation $5 adult, 12 and under free
1-4 p.m: Haines House Underground Railroad Museum Tours, 186 W. Market St.
Suggested donation $5 adult, 6 and under free
1:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Hike and Seek - Huston-Brumbaugh Nature Center
Come out to the Nature Center to explore the woods while scouting for cut outs of common woodland animals.
Grab a checklist in the Visitors Center and follow a designated trail to find animals along the way.
Join us for a music jam. Bring an instrument or just come to listen. Beginners are welcome. Starting at 2pm. Programs and access are free and open to the public.

2 p.m: Alliance Cemetery Tours (Meet at the Chapel), 541 W. Vine St.
7:00pm: The Tempest
The Bard's tale of treachery, betrayal, and forgiveness.
Grounds open for seating at 6:00
Lawn chairs encouraged. Bleacher seats also available.
