Rooted in various African American and Latine vernacular dances, including breaking, hip-hop, house and vogue, EAD is dedicated to exploring the inherently complex and dynamic qualities of these forms – Asherie’s "movement phrases–compact bursts of choreography with rapid-fire changes in rhythm and gestural articulation — bubble up and dissipate, quickly paving the way for something new" (The New York Times).

4th Of July Block Party: Stillhouse Junkies
Green Box Farm Stand
Highlighting our annual 4th of July Block Party, Green Box is thrilled to welcome Stillhouse Junkies back to Green Mountain Falls, following their artist residency in 2023.  A crowd-thrilling trio, the Durango-bred band offer up a hypnotic and high-energy form of roots music anchored in the free-flowing interplay among the three lifelong musicians (Fred Kosak on guitar and mandolin, Cody Tinnin on upright bass, Alissa Wolf on fiddle). While they’ve gained major traction in the bluegrass world in recent years — including winning the IBMA Momentum Band of the Year award in 2021—Stillhouse Junkies ultimately inhabit a genre – blurring and subtly inventive sound informed by everything from blues to classical to Texas swing.
