Springdale Rotary Club hosts its annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Downtown Springdale featuring the Leprechaun Duck Race.

The Leprechauns are returning to Springdale and bringing their floating friends and plenty of shenanigans with them!

The St. Patrick's Leprechaun Race is the feature event of Springdale Rotary's celebration of all things Irish. Spring Creek running through Downtown Springdale will turn a lovely shade of green* to herald the return of our lucky friends to Shiloh Square and Turnbow Park. Our day of fun begins with a "Green" Car Show, followed by a pet leprechaun contest, lots of music, and fun giveaways. At 3:30 p.m., over 2,000 leprechauns will dive into Spring Creek to race to the finish line. The winning leprechaun will win its sponsor $1,000, second place $500, and third place $250!

Schedule:

12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. - "Green" Car Show featuring electric vehicles
2:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. - Pet Leprechaun costume contest - show us your furry, four-legged friends' Irish side!
3:30 p.m. - Leprechaun Race
