3rd Annual Harvestfest in Hungry Horse

Events include a children's costume fun run and costume parade, dessert auction,  pie eating contest, kid's crafts, games and activities, chili cook-off, cornbread competition, FREE chili lunch while supplies last, and many more fall activities! 

Free Events:

Kid's Corner: Fall themed activities put on by the Imagine If Library
Kids crafts and games
Tour of large equipment!
50/50 Split the Pot
Spooky Substances
Yard Games (weather dependent)
12:00pm: Children's Fun Run and Costume Parade (Wear your costume, join in on the fun run, and then showcase your costume after!)
12:30-3:00pm: FREE chili and cornbread lunch (until we run out) 
& plenty more fall themed activties!

Additional Paid Events (but free to watch!): 

Dessert Auction: (11:00-2:30pm) Bring a pie, and/or bid on a pie! 
Pie Eating Contest (Starts at 1:00pm): $5.00/entry
Chili Cook Off - $25/Chili: Enter your chili into the contest! Chili will be judged between 11:00-12:30pm.  1st place wins $75, 2nd place $50, and third place $25. After the contest, all chill  is served for free to overall event attendees.
Corn Bread Competition - $10/Cornbread: Have the best cornbread recipe? Enter the cornbread competition at Harvestfest.  Cornbread will be judged from 11:00-12:30pm. 1st place wins $30, 2nd place wins $20, and 3rd place wins $10. 
Enter both the chili and cornbread competition for only $30!

Harvestfest Official 5k:

Race starts and ends at Canyon Elementary School in Hungry Horse, Montana. Course runs right along the Southfork of the Flathead River.  Beauitful, course! Be prepared for some gravel and bring your bearspray just in case!

Race starts at 11:00 am 

Medal ceremony at 12:30pm
