Lunch Concert at Overshine with Destiny Muhammad Quintet; Noon – 2 p.m.

Overshine Wine | 2201 Westside Road | Healdsburg

Presented by Healdsburg Jazz MAJOR Sponsor Overshine Wine

Join us for an afternoon in the Dry Creek Valley at Overshine Wine. Music, poetry, food and wine. What more could you ask for? Drawing inspiration from the film Love Jones, the afternoon kicks-off with a glass of Overshine wine, delectable slices of Pizza Degen, and DJ Noah spinning vinyl in the tasting room, accompanied by poet Genny Lim, San Francisco’s Poet Laureate. We will then transition outdoors to the elevated concert area for a performance featuring the talented harpist, vocalist, and the remarkable Destiny Muhammad Quartet.

Harpist Destiny Muhammad describes her musical influences as Celtic to Coltrane and heavily inspired by the innovative harp player Dorothy Ashby. Destiny Muhammad has been described by SFJAZZ as a “masterful, exploratory musician.” Whether interpreting jazz standards or her spiritually charged original tunes, exploring hip-hop, Muhammad turns every piece into a soulful adventure.
