Palmetto Running Company proudly presents the 9th annual Hilton Head Freedom 5K run & walk, a patriotic celebration taking place on Memorial Day, May 27th, 2024, at the stunning Port Royal Plantation on Hilton Head Island. The Freedom 5K is a remarkable opportunity to pay tribute to those who have bravely served in the armed forces, all within the context of a fun and family-friendly event.

Embrace the spirit of patriotism as you run with the American flag and dress in your most patriotic Red, White & Blue attire. Who knows, you might even claim the coveted most patriotic runner award. Immerse yourself in one of the most scenic courses Hilton Head has to offer.

Join us in honoring our heroes as a portion of the race proceeds and 100% of all donations will be directed towards the Semper Fi & America's Fund, supporting those who have selflessly served our nation. 7:00am-7:45am – Race Day packet pick up.

7:45am-8:00am – Pre-Race Ceremony. 

8:00am – Race start

9:00am – Awards presentation
