She’s finally doing it performing stand-up alone. Or at least, that was the plan. But before she can even begin, her puppets have other ideas.
Through a series of unexpected interruptions, this ventriloquist’s show unravels into something much stranger than a comedy set. Each puppet embodies a different approach to performing and all of them seem determined to prove that stepping onstage alone is a terrible idea.
As she attempts to push forward, the line between control and chaos blurs. What starts as a simple goal—figuring out how to be a solo comedian turns into a surreal, self-reflective journey through identity, performance, and the ways we reveal ourselves even when we think we’re holding back.
