PaperCut Theatre Company was founded by actors Emma Milani and Lily Johns, two passionate artists dedicated to bringing compelling, female-driven stories to the stage in Los Angeles. A bit about us! Emma is best known for her role as Ana Phoenix in the Fox television series Monarch (2022), alongside other film and television credits. Lily is a New York/LA-based actress and a graduate of Montclair State University’s BFA Acting program (2021). She also trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, specializing in Shakespeare. The two met at Jeffrey Marcus’s Acting Studio and bonded over their shared love of theater and commitment to storytelling. Together, they launched PaperCut Theatre Company to create bold, thought-provoking productions that amplify women’s voices.
