Vico Ortiz-aka "Jim Jimenez" from Max's cult-hit Our Flag Means Death-presents the West Coast Premiere of their first solo show, RISE OF A KING. A cosmic, gender-bending joyride, this burlesque extravaGAYnza blends drag, astrology, and raw storytelling to untangle the mess and magic of growing up-while rewriting the rules of who gets to wear the crown.

Heartfelt, hilarious, and just the right amount of woo-woo, RISE OF A KING is directed by Ismanuel Rodríguez, written by Vico Ortiz, and developed with Nikki Levy.
