Hollywood Fringe Festival - Songs About Golf: An Evening With The Legendary Sandy McCloud

Saturday, Jun 7, 2025 at 10:10pm

Skiptown Playhouse
665 Heliotrope Dr

After a string of personal and professional setbacks (double bogey!), legendary golf crooner Swingin’ Sandy McCloud is back under the Skiptown lights in Songs About Golf, singing about the only two things that haven’t left him: his love of hitting tiny little dimpled balls, and his trusted caddy Pete. And though Sandy might not always “get the ball in the hole” when it comes to life off the green, in Songs About Golf, he sure is trying to “putt” his troubles behind him one swing at a time.

Songs About Golf is like Springsteen on Broadway, only instead of working-class songs of resilience, these are light and happy songs about the healing powers of golfing (and the things that come with it, like money and drinking). Featuring hit golf songs like “Gator on the Back Nine”, “Can’t Get It In The Hole”, and “Putt’n My Troubles Behind Me”, Songs About Golf is sure to make you want to hit the green and take a big swing on life!
