Celebrate America's Love Affair with Cars and Rock N' Roll.

In August, the streets of Reno-Sparks light up with the sounds of classics and rays of sunshine glinting off polished chrome. Thousands of spectators descend on the region to catch a glimpse into the past. Spectators come to catch the Show-n-Shines with our 6,000 registered participants taking place at 12 venues and watch the cruises that light up the night. This nostalgic event brings it all.

8:30am to 10:30am: Celebrity Choice & HAN Event Series Judging and Awards - Victorian Square - Downtown Sparks
6PM to 12PM: Drag Races presented by AMSOIL - Racing and Burnout Competition with $1,000 in Cash Prizes - Gates Open at 5:30pm - Gates Open at 5:30pm - $20 Admission Free for Car Participants - West Parking Lot - Nugget Casino Resort
6PM to 9PM: Hot August Nights Foundation 50/50 Raffle Ticket Sales for Charity - Winner Selected Saturday Aug 9 for 50% of cash from all days - Drag Races - Nugget Casino Resort
