The Hungarian Heritage Festival (aka Hungarian Festival AZ or HunFest) is organized by the Hungarian Cultural Association of Phoenix since 2019. The HCAP is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization.

Food

Traditional Hungarian food – including pastries – for sale. Examples: fried sausage, stuffed cabbage, chicken paprikas, gulyas, lecso, langos, among others.

Food items are subject to availability.

12:15pm – 12:30pm: Opening Ceremony
Hungarian and American Anthem
Welcome by Mayor Jerry P. Weiers; Council member Ray Malnar, & HCAP President Réka Vicsacsán
12:30pm – 12:50pm: Napocska Hungarian School
1pm-2pm Folk music and dances – followed by dance circle
2pm-3pm Band (TBA)
3pm-4pm Band (TBA)
4pm-4:45pm Folk music and dances – followed by dance circle
4:45pm-5pm Raffle – announcing the winners
5pm-6pm Folk music and dances – followed by dance circle
