6 p.m. - Fire in the Village
North Shore Music Association & WTIP have partnered to present Fire in the Village, a night of art, music, and community gatherin 6-7pm Social Hour with printmaking activity-7pm Upcycled Fashion Show-7:30pm Music! Fire in the Village is a collective of artists and cultural organizers based in Anishinaabe territory (rural northern Minnesota). They focus on creating and sustaining "spiritual fires of connection" through poetry, music, storytelling, printmaking, mural arts, dancing, and nourishment. Rooted in the belief that everyone carries a piece of the sacred story (aadizookaan), their work fosters relationships and highlights our deep connection to the earth, each other, and ourselves.
