The Town of Cheraw is hosting its annual Independence Celebration on Thursday, July 3, 2025. Join us as we kick off the Independence holiday with the traditional downtown children’s parade at 11:00am. The festivities continue later that evening from 6:00pm - 10:00pm at Cheraw High School stadium with games, waterslides, food trucks and live music. The stage will host TRU SOUL band playing your favorites starting at 7:00pm.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets or towels and enjoy the celebration! Spectacular fireworks display with dazzling special effects and bright lights, by Zambelli Fireworks will be the grand finale that will start around 10:00pm. Admission to the celebration is Free with a small fee charged for water slides and face painting. Also, a variety of food vendors will be onsite for food purchase.
This is a family-friendly event, and all bags are subject to be searched. Only service handler animals are allowed.
