Relive the formative years and iconic songs of legendary singer-songwriter Carole King as Interlochen Arts Camp’s High School Musical Theatre Production students perform Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. The Tony and Grammy Award-winning musical follows King from her Brooklyn adolescence to her emergence as one of the nation’s most sought-after hitmakers-while offering a glimpse into her tumultuous personal life. Don’t miss an unforgettable biographical journey featuring a book by Douglas McGrath and more than two dozen classic pop hits such as “One Fine Day,” “Natural Woman,” “Will You Love Me Tomorrow,” and “The Locomotion.”

7:30 p.m : Cristian Macelaru conducts "Les Préludes" - World Youth Symphony Orchestra

Experience a powerful, 98-year-old tradition as the students of Interlochen Arts Camp stage the perennial end-of-summer celebration, “Les Préludes.” Students from all three of the Camp’s high school instrumental ensembles-the World Youth Symphony Orchestra, Interlochen Philharmonic, and World Youth Wind Symphony-unite with the Interlochen Summer Dance Ensemble for a poignant multidisciplinary performance of Franz Liszt’s evocative tone poem, “Les Préludes.”
