The annual Jazz and World Music Festival in the Conservatory of Music features students, faculty, and world-renowned guest artists. In addition to performances both on- and off-campus, there are clinics and workshops throughout the duration of the festival. All events are free and open to the public unless marked otherwise.

Schedule Of Events

9 a.m : Visiting Student Check-In - Huntington Recital Hall Lobby

10 a.m : Consort & Big Band Concert, featuring Capital Jazz Faculty: Dr. Michael Cox (Saxophone) Featuring Dr. Michael Cox (Saxophone) The Haueisen Stage at Mees Hall Auditorium

11 a.m : Jazz Luncheon, featuring Capital Jazz Faculty: Antoine Fatout, Roger Hines, and Stan Smith - Main Dining Room, Harry C. Moores Student Union

12 - 1:30 p.m : Open Jam Session, led by Capital Jazz Faculty: Roger Hines and Vanguard (student ensemble) One Main Cafe, Harry C. Moores Student Union

1:30 - 2 p.m : New Orleans style parade led by Savoy (student ensemble) Begins at Harry C. Moores Student Union and ends at the Conservatory of Music

2 p.m : Big Band Sit-in Rehearsal - Huntington Recital Hall

3:15 - 4 p.m : Jazz Workshops

4 p.m : Optional Campus Tours
