The City of Milton is making a splash this Independence Day with Riverfest 2025, taking place

This free, family-friendly celebration features:
Water slides
Live music
The Great Milltown Duck Race
A spectacular fireworks show
Timeline:
3:00 PM – 8:45 PM – Water Slides open at Jernigan’s Landing (5158 Willing St)

5:00 PM – Blackwater Pyrates Great Milltown Duck Race begins from the Hwy 90 Bridge
Boaters: Clear the area between Hwy 90 Bridge & the train trestle from 4:45–5:45 PM
7:00 PM – Bands on the Blackwater concert featuring The Chase Mitchell Band
9:00 PM – Fireworks over the Blackwater River
Boat traffic must be cleared between Russell Harbor and the Hwy 90 Bridge by 8:30 PM
Fireworks will not launch if boats remain in the designated safety zone
Street Closures & Parking (Downtown – July 4)
Willing St. & Pine St. close to traffic at 7:00 AM
Unauthorized vehicles will be towed beginning at 9:00 AM
early arrival recommended for best parking
Daytime Event (Hosted by Santa Rosa County Chamber):
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Freedom Car & Bike Show at 4315 Avalon Blvd.
Enjoy music, vendors, and awards before heading downtown!
River Access Restrictions:
No mooring or docking at the Riverwalk (drop-offs only)
No anchoring between Hwy 90 Bridge & train trestle from 4:45–5:45 PM (Duck Race)
No boat traffic between Russell Harbor Landing and north of Hwy 90 Bridge
from 8:30–9:30 PM (Fireworks safety zone)
Accessibility & Emergency Services:
30 accessible parking spaces behind the courthouse (valid disability permit required)
Enter via Hwy 90 & North Willing St
Emergency services will be stationed behind the courthouse
Media parking available via Willing St. entrance (Media passes must be requested in advance)
