Join us for our annual 4th of July Celebration on Thursday, July 4! Events all day including a pancake breakfast at the fire station, 5k race, parade, carnival, and a fun filled evening celebration.

Schedule of Event:

07:30a.m-09:30a.m: Pancake Breakfast

Enjoy a delicious pancake and sausage breakfast for $5 at Kentwood Fire Station 1, 4775 Walma Ave SE and head out to find your spot for the parade & 5K Race! Kids 3 and under eat for free.

08:30a.m: 5K Race

The race starts and finishes in front of Kentwood City Hall. Runners will loop through neighborhoods and come back on the East West Trail to the finish line! Check-in will be across from Fire Station 1.

10:30a.m-02:30p.m: Carnival

Bring the kids for inflatables, rides, and games behind City Hall from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. Purchase a carnival wristband in advance for $20 at City Hall and the Kentwood Activities Center on Monday, July 1 through Wednesday, July 3.

04:00p.m-10:00p.m: Evening Celebration

The evening celebration takes place behind Kentwood City Hall and includes:

Beer Tent

Live Music: Bare Naked 90s, Moonshot, and JP & The Energy

Fireworks at Dusk
