Thank you for checking out the August 24th race in the 2025 Kids TRI for Kids Triathlon Series at Freedom Springs Park in Greenwood hosted by the Greenwood Gators Swim Team!
The Greenwood Race will continue the Kids TRI for Kids Format!!
At all the KTFK 2025 races, there will be BOTH a TRIATHLON and a DUATHLON offered for your racing enjoyment. After the race, each athlete participating will be given a free pass to Freedom Springs to be used the day of race.
The Greenwood Kids TRI for Kids events will consist of a TRIATHLON with a 100 yard Swim/2.0 Mile Bike/1/2 Mile Run for the 10 and under age groups, or a 200 yard Swim/4 Mile Bike/1 Mile Run for the 11 to 14 age groups (distances are approximate). The DUATHLON will consist of a ½ Mile Run/2 Mile Bike/½ Mile Run for the 10 and under age groups, and a 1/2 Mile Run/4 Mile Bike/1 Mile Run for the 11 to 14 age groups.
This is the seventh year for the Kids TRI for Kids – Greenwood race and we are really excited to bring back this unique racing experience unlike any of the other races in the series! The swim will take place in the Freedom Springs “lazy river.” The Bike course is a 2-mile loop around the Freedom Park property, and the Run course is along Freedom Park’s inner loop. Below, you will find lots of important information pertaining to the race.
