Attracts hundreds of thousands of people to the banks of the Mississippi River in Helena, Arkansas, this iconic festival, held the weekend before Columbus Day each October, continues to preserve the music of the Delta. The name stems from King Biscuit Time, the longest-running daily radio show.

FLOUR POWER 5K RUN
The Flour Power Run is held in conjunction with King Biscuit Blues Festival and is held in memory of Kenneth Freemyer. The race takes you down the beautiful Mississippi River and through historic downtown Helena. Come enjoy a weekend of the river, the race and the blues.
Kenneth Freemyer was the Race Director for this 5K since 1996. He was an avid runner who completed 24 marathons, as well as this 5K, and other races. Kenneth was killed suddenly in a car wreck in May of 2000. He had qualified for the Boston Marathon just before his death. This race remembers his contributions to this festival and the community of Helena.
Registration costs include admission into the 5k Race, participant race t-shirt, and refreshments at the end of the race!

RIDE THE DELTA AND HEAR THE BLUES!
This year Tour da Delta will be a group gravel ride down the levee and gravel road of the beautiful Saint Francis National Forest out to Storm Creek Lake where there will be restrooms and a rest stop. We will also ride down the gravel road of the Forest out to where the Saint Francis River empties into the Mississippi River where there will be another rest stop. The ride will be approximately 25 miles. We will also ride over to Freeman Playground, the River Park and also swing past the American Legion Hut and show everyone the Merci Train Car that was a gift from France back in 1949 for defending them in WW1 and WW2. Lodging accommodations for cyclist are available at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Showers are available a block away for an additional fee.
Registration the day of the ride is $15.
A Day Pass into the Festival will also be offered for an additional $25.
We also have 14 E-bikes available to rent for the ride for an additional $30 and helmets will also be provided with the E-Bike Rental.
The 25 mile group gravel route starts at 9:30 a.m. from the Thrive Warehouse at 415 Ohio Street in the downtown area of Helena and over by the Levee
