Kootenai River Run

Sponsored by Idaho Forest Group and part of the Bonners Ferry Chamber of Commerce Kootenai River Days

After the run, enjoy Kootenai River Days festivities such as face painting, corn hole tournament, street dance, vendors, the farmers' market, and more!

Course Info: 

5k (3.1 miles) and 10k (6.2 miles) brings you in and around the city of Bonners Ferry.  Both courses start and finish at the Boundary County Fairgrounds, just 4 blocks west of town.

Awards: 

Trophies will be presented to overall male & female winners in each race.  Ribbons will be given to the top 3 finishers in the following male and female age groups:

0-11 yrs, 12-15 yrs, 16-19 yrs, 20-29 yrs, 30-39 yrs, 40-49 yrs, 50-59 yrs, 60-69 yrs, 70+ yrs

Team Prize: Form a team of 5 (family, co-workers, friends, etc.). Combine your times. The team with the lowest combined time wins a prize! 

Door Prizes: Drawings for door prizes will be held following the race.  Grand prize: $125 gift certificate toward the purchase of a new pair of running shoes.

Entry Deadline:

Entries will be accepted on the morning of the race, however, a $5 late fee will be added. To assure receipt of a t-shirt, your entry must be received by no later than July 7, 2024.

Cost: 

$25 ($30 Canadian) with tech t-shirt, $10 ($12 Canadian) without t-shirt.  Net proceeds will be used to provide deserving local student runners with college scholarships and to help support the Bonners Ferry High School cross-country program.
