"Dmitry Krymov is one of the world's finest theatermakers." - The New York Times

A visionary of the Russian theater, Dmitry Krymov defected to the United States after Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, settling in New York City. Since then, his works have faced cancellation and defamation in his home country, but haven't lost any theatrical integrity.

During this special one-day festival, New York audiences will have an opportunity to see three distinct plays, directed by Dmitry Krymov, all recorded in HD and presented in a feature film format. The award-winning "Boris," (Presented in Russian with English subtitles) the adaptation "Everyone is Here" (Presented in Russian with English subtitles) and the post-invasion "Fragment" (Presented in Lithuanian with both English & Russian subtitles) together showcase Krymov's vast range of perspective and an ethos that firmly entrenches him in the ranks of the world's greatest living artists.

Krymov himself will discuss his work and answer audience questions following the last feature. Tickets are available for single screenings or the full day's events, including the live Q&A.

SCHEDULE:

2 PM: BORIS (96 min)

4:30 PM: EVERYONE IS HERE (105 min)
