C5 Rodeo owns F13 Virgil, legendary bareback horse and is proud to again bring their best stock to Helena’s Last Chance Stampede in 2025.

Wayne Brooks, the “Voice of Rodeo,” returns as the Last Chance Stampede’s rodeo announcer. A PRCA member since 1994, Wayne has been named PRCA Rodeo Announcer of the Year 5 times and has been selected as one of the Wrangler National Finals announcers 9 times. Entertaining, informative and insightful – Wayne truly makes the audience a part of each performance.

Jill Franzen Loden, PRCA 2021 Music Director of the Year, will produce sound and music for the 2025 Last Chance Stampede rodeo performances. Jill has been providing professional rodeo sound and music for 21 years, and was selected PRCA Music Director of the Year in 2018 and 2020. Jill’s Sound provides sound and music nationwide for over 28 professional rodeos and bull riding events a year – we’re happy to welcome her back to Helena.

JJ Harrison, Rodeo Clown/Barrelman, will make his first appearance at the Last Chance Stampede. JJ is consistently considered one of the top five PRCA rodeo clowns/barrelmen. JJ was the 2012 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Clown and a five-time Ram National Circuit Finals Rodeo Clown. JJ is one of the most sought-after rodeo clowns in the country with his high energy, quick wit, comical routines and audience engagement.

Rodeo Clown/Barrelman Dalton Morris, better known as Disco Dalton, Morris has performed at several rodeo finals, including the PRCA Wilderness Circuit Finals and travels the country entertaining Pro Rodeo, Pro Bull Riding, and horse fair fans.
In 2018, he was awarded Champion Barrelman as well as Champion Specialty Act with his trick roping act Morris makes crowds of all ages laugh with his humorous antics, trick roping, and fence balancing acts.

Felix Santana and his Andalusian stallion Romano bring a new style of horsemanship to this year’s Last Chance Stampede. Based on traditional Spanish style riding and natural horse foot work that is used for bull fighting and doma vaquero, Felix showcases his horse’s talent and athletic ability, and a mastery of communication between horse and rider.

MUTTON BUSTIN' AND STEER RIDING

Mutton Bustin’ and Steer Riding will take place prior to the opening of all three nights of the PRCA Rodeo, July 24-26. To be eligible for Mutton Bustin’, children must be ages 3-7; to be eligible for Steer Riding, children must be 8-13.

Signing up does not automatically mean your child will be a rider.

There will be a lottery drawing on Wednesday, July 16 for 12 sheep riders each night and 8 steer riders each night. Riders will be notified by email Wednesday, July 16.

Sign up is Open July 9th-14th and will CLOSE at 5pm on July 14th.
