Seth Adamson, Des Moines Growing Futures Program Coordinator with Trees Forever will talk about their mission – to plant and care for trees and the environment by empowering people, build communities, and to promote stewardship! Trees Forever does more than just plant trees! Trees Forever cares about the environment; about our urban forests, our rural lands, the communities we live in and our fellow citizens. 

Their nonprofit charitable organization, headquartered in Marion, Iowa, was founded in 1989, and continues today with their commitment to connect people to the environment through the planting and care of trees, prairie, and other natural areas. Seth joined the Trees Forever team after completing an 11-month service term with Trees Forever as an AmeriCorps member. Originally from Des Moines, Seth moved back to Iowa in 2022 and has been in love with the Trees Forever mission ever since.
