The Louisiana Renaissance Festival is a lively and immersive event that aims to recreate the atmosphere, culture, and entertainment of the Renaissance period, which typically spanned from the 14th to the 17th century in Europe.
Every autumn the Louisiana Renaissance Festival creates the English village of Albright, with more than 600 artisans, entertainers, and educational demonstrations welcoming you to the best parts of the 16th century.
Overall, the Louisiana Renaissance Festival provides a unique opportunity for guests to step back in time and experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of the Renaissance period in a fun and immersive environment.

Adamo Ignis:
Adamo Ignis means ‘to love flame’, exactly what you’ll do when you see the hot stunts in this show! Adamo Ignis continues our oldest tradition of gathering to the flame, but with elements of danger and dance. Join her for fire eating, fire breathing, fire dancing, and more.
Andrew McKee:
A storyteller and weaver of dreams in the grand Celtic tradition, this Irish bard brings to life a céilí atmosphere with music and stories for one and all. All 6 weekends
Chaste Treasure:
Definitely a treasure, but questionably chaste, Chaste Treasure will delight your senses through song, with tight harmonies, and a lot of double entendre (more for mom and dad, not the kids).

Connor O'Carraig:
Connor O’Carraig may be the biggest leprechaun you’ve ever seen! His sleight of hand comedy magic will leave you smiling, amazed, and believing in the fae of Ireland. All six weekends.
Constance Panderwell:
Mayor's Wife Constance “Connie” Panderwell, the charming better half of the Righte & Honourable Lord Mayor William Panderwell, often found frequenting the boutiques of Albright to stimulate the local economy, is once again looking to fill various Council positions and find the perfect hat. There all 6 weekends.
Count du Monette:
Count du Monette is a Frenchman, but we have not figured out what he does or why he is here in our bustling village of Albright. Maybe you can help! If you see Count du Monette on his enjoyable daily stroll, soften him up with a compliment, and then try to learn more about him. You'll have to be sneaky, though -- if Count du Monette suspects you are on a fact-finding mission, he will adeptly dodge your questions. He will, however, be happy to instruct you on the proper pronunciation of your name. Here all six weekends.
Dragon's Breath Entertainment:
Jeremy started his career in glass in 2005 with an apprenticeship specializing in historical reproductions in Manheim, Pa. Master glassblower Jeremy Thomas started his career in glass in 2005 with an apprenticeship specializing in historical reproductions in Manheim, Pa. He shares his talent for creating unique pieces of glass with audiences across the country.
Falconry Show:
Falconer Kitty Carroll shares her message of appreciation for the natural world through birds of prey and the fascination they inspire. In this demonstration, you'll watch free-flying raptors while learning about their hunting methods, food preferences, and more. All 6 weekends.
Foxy Bard and Twig:
Foxy and Twig have a song for just about everyone – Irish drinking tunes, songs in languages from around the world, and, for some reason, a song about chickens. Want something different? They can make up a song on the fly just for you. Enjoy a drink with the premiere chaos bards! All 6 weekends.
Harry Roullier:
Dating back close to a thousand years, the hurdy-gurdy is not seen much in the United States. Harry plays music from the 12th century up to the present and has learned from teachers in France and England. It has a unique sound you won't want to miss! There all six weekends.
Joust:
Only those of noble birth were allowed to compete in the joust, a combat using lances on horseback. Demonstrated twice a day at our Joust Arena. Here all six weekends.
Judas and Magnolia:
Judas and Magnolia are a husband and wife team of escape artists and illusionists who have performed around the globe. Through comedy, suspense, and abundant audience participation the pair work to tell fantastical narratives and bring crowds to the edges of their seats with death-defying stunts. Judas and Magnolia hope to inspire their audiences to “live their very best lives” by being living examples of courage and love. All 6 weekends.
Les S. Moore:
Mixing modern sensibilities with vaudeville flair, Les promises a show to dazzle and delight every audience.
Lord Mayor William Panderwell:
The newly-elected Righte & Honourable Lord Mayor William “Willie” Panderwell takes his municipal duties less seriously than his social and acquisitional interests, and can be seen in the lanes of Albright, stumping for votes and schmoozing the tourists. Various Council and Alderman positions are available for generous campaign donors. Here all six weekends.
Mad Erik:
The closer you get the better the magic. Mad Erik is unbelievably fantastic fun. Dare we say it is magical? There all six weekends.
Ordo Procinctus:
The Ordo is a competitive, full contact, medieval fighting club. Our name, "Ordo Procinctus" is Latin - meaning "the Order of the Battle Ready." We study combat arts within a system that is as realistic as possible allowing for reasonable safety. Chivalry sport is a competitive, unchoreographed ring sport where each combatant is trying to earn victory. Battling every day of all six weekends.

Pandorium Belly Dancing:
Pandorium is comprised of more than 25 talented dancers and musicians. They perform frequently throughout the Gulf South Region, engaging audiences with their live music, super shimmy skills, and their own special brand of comedy. Dancing every day of all 6 weekends.
Paolo Garbonzo:
Paolo Garbanzo has performed for crowds all over the US and Europe. He's been a member of the Flying Karamazov Brothers, and was given a Lifetime Achievement Award by the International Juggling Association. As a winner of the International Jester Competition, he is an official jester of Muncaster Castle, the first American in history to be an official jester of an English castle. Performing First Four weekends of November.
Puppies of Penzance:
This brisk, energetic dog show takes adventures on a pirate ship manned by pups! Great to watch with the whole family (even the teenagers) performing cute tricks every day of the festival.
Queen Elizabeth:
Her Royal Majesty Elizabeth Regina Tudor (that's Queen Elizabeth I to you 21st-century folks) is on holiday and visiting our Village of Albright. See her in the parade, feel free to join the procession, and follow her to the Joust tournament. Once a day she also bestows Knighthoods, and Ladyships to those deserving. You can meet the queen every day of the festival.
Rapier Demonstration:
Cheer for your favorite as members of the Albright Players demonstrate the art of the rapier. Daily demonstrations, every day of festival.
Rover's Way:
Rover's Way invites you on a musical journey. This duo brings together the folk music traditions of many lands with multiple instruments and dynamic harmonies, along with stories behind the music and their adventures on the road. From the toe-tapping tunes of the Newfoundland Coast, to the rousing pub songs of the Emerald Isle, historic tales from the New World, and even a few songs from their own pens. Performing every day of faire.
Shakespeare Approves:
Join your friendly, neighborhood Shakespeare as he takes you on adventures full of merriment: sword fights, mistaken identities, star-cross’d lovers, flying implements of doom, musical numbers, death by fluffy kittens, and being pursued by a bear.
Vince Conaway:
Vince Conaway and his hammered dulcimer bring history to life as he weaves storytelling with an enchanting array of Celtic and Renaissance music. Here all six weekends.
Washing Well Wenches:
Live, love, laugh, launder...repeat. This comedy troupe turns washing clothes and husband hunting into a hilarious art form. Making good clean fun all 6 weekends.
Whiskey Bay Rovers:
The Whiskey Bay Rovers are Louisiana's first and only pirate band. Specializing in drinking songs, sea chanteys, ballads, and pub songs, the Rovers bring their mixed musical backgrounds to the stage in an effort to preserve the songs of a bygone era, bringing new ones to life as well as often putting a new spin on the old ones. Employing many a cappella arrangements with up to six part harmonies while using instrumental accompaniment of guitar, penny whistles, drums, and recorder on others, the Whiskey Bay Rovers provide a variety of song styles to quench your thirst for the sea. Harmonizing all six weekends.
