Celebrate the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Snake with this family-friendly cultural festival! The Lunar New Year is one of the largest holidays in Chinese culture and is celebrated by billions of people worldwide.
A variety of activities, performances and local vendors will be at the library to commemorate this important and widely celebrated holiday:
Performances
- Traditional Dance Performance - 11 a.m.
- Lion Dance and Kung Fu Demonstration - 11:30 a.m., Provided by Lee's White Leopard Kung-Fu School
- Tea Ceremony - 12:15 p.m., Provided by Sunshine Studios
Live Snake Meet and Greet - 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Provided by All About Animals Live
