The Lutz Independence Day 5k and 1-Mile Fun Run is a family event celebrating Independence Day in Lutz, FL. The race is held annually on July 4th preceding the Lutz Independence Day Parade.
Schedule of Events:
Race Day - July 4th
6:30-7:15am bib pickup
7:30am 5K race start (chip timed)
8:15am 1 Mile Fun Run start
8:30am Begin Awards
Awards: 5k Medals to all finishers. 1-mile medals to all 1-mile finishers.
Only register for both events if you plan to complete the 5k in under 45 minutes as the 1-mile starts at 8:15am
Trophies: 5K- First overall male/female; First masters male/female; top 3 in 5-year age groups 0-9 thru 70+
