14th Annual Maui Steel Guitar Festival

The 2025 Maui Steel Guitar Festival will be held at The Shops at Wailea.

The festival will feature three steel guitar masters from Maui, three steel guitar masters from O‘ahu, and two NextGen steel guitarists.

Saturday Ho‘olaule‘a:

Saturday's main program will be presented at the Shops at Wailea in Wailea and hosted by Monte McComber. Featured O‘ahu steel guitarists include Alan Akaka, Mālie Lyman, and Devin Nakahara. Featured Maui steel guitarists include Joel Katz, Konapiliahi Lau, and Geronimo "Geri" Valdriz. NextGen steel guitarists Issac Woodward and Hi‘ipoi Lindsey will also perform.

Festival guests will be offered hands-on opportunities to experience the steel guitar under the guidance of steel guitar experts.
