This summer, join us for concerts from three of contemporary folk music’s leading troubadours - supergroup Bonny Light Horseman; mandolinist, songwriter and vocalist Sierra Hull; and triple Grammy winner and folk icon Shawn Colvin - and experience the pure, authentic music summer nights were made for.
Come early and have a drink before the music or join us after! Our bar will be open before and after the concerts - it’s a great place to meet and connect with other music lovers.
Schedule of events
7pm - Bonny Light Horseman - Geffen Stage at Kaufmann Concert Hall
Folk supergroup Bonny Light Horseman - Hadestown creator Anaïs Mitchell, Eric D. Johnson (Fruit Bats), and multi-instrumentalist Josh Kaufman - makes what NPR called "new folk music inspired by the spirit of old folk."
Their captivating sound weaves together the traditional and the new, with elements of Americana, indie rock, music of the British Isles, and more, delivered through gorgeous harmonies, spare instrumentation, and tender, lyrical storytelling. Hear them in songs from their latest album, Keep Me On Your Mind/See You Free - what the artists call "an ode to the blessed mess of our humanity" - and music from their rich songbook of originals and traditionals in an evening of music-making in its purest form.
