Welcome to the Annual Military Matters VeteRUN 5k!

Anyone can run/walk in support of Military Matters! We will be hosting multiple organizations who support our local veterans, and will have fun family activities available for all who attend. 

Proceeds from the 5k will go to Military Matters, a program that fills the gap in legal services to military service members and veterans. To learn more about the program visit militarymatterskc.org. 

Schedule:

7:00AM - Race Day Registration Opens/Packet Pick-Up
8:00 AM - 5K Run/Walk Starts
8:45 AM - Kids fun run following the 5k
9:00 AM - Awards on the North Lawn

Course Info:

Please Note: We have updated the race course to be the same start/end point to ensure better accuracy of your race times. Please take caution if you plan to run/walk with a stroller or wheelchair as the route is typical sidewalk-width.

Awards:

Awards will be given to the top overall female and male, the top overall female and male veteran, and the top three males and females in each age group (19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+).

Please Note: You must register before August 11. We hope to be able to provide each participant with a t-shirt, however please be understanding if we run out.
